J&C's of late

Jeers to me for getting all sad when I get invited to or come across an ad for bras.

Jeers to me for getting mad at those who find humor in an ill-fitting bra.

Jeers to so many of my friends who insist on believing that Trump is doing a good job. How?  What has he done?  I sure didn't benefit from the tax cut he gave out. I will suffer because there isn't going to be enough money for services i MAY NEED IN THE FUTURE.

Jeers to me for allowing Trump to dictate who to be friends with. I am so angry at those who could support the kid-separating-pussy-grabbing-environmental-killing-fuckin-moron. Ugh.

Cheers to ...oh nevermind...we're in big dodo.

Jeers to people jumping to conclusions, borrowing trouble, thinking that the world is ending just because some things are changing. Just because some people in politics are investigating the options of something other than what we are used to, like Democratic Socialism, UBI and our reliance on fossil fuel, OMG we are going to hell in a handbasket.

Jeers to those overreacting to two Muslims now in Congress and beleiving OMG, our Christian values are hanging by a thread! “You know those Muslims hate gays, right?” I am told. And I wonder do they hate them any more than Christians?

Jeers to pro-lifers having a cow over NYS  who is allowing doctors to legally perform a late-staged pregnancy procedure in an emergency situation that can’t be performed legally if it was not an emergency. OMG now we’re killing babies left and right just because we can. Because we just willy nilly want to.

Jeers to people who steal other people's mail. It has happened twice in a week...I mailed something to two different people and they never got them even though tracking says they did. Grrrr..

Jeers to me for not having a cheer to share.

C & J for Feb 17th

Cheers to my mama who would have turned 88 today. I hope you are happy in heaven and celebrating like it's 1999 with you twin, Aunt Marie and all the rest of your family. Miss you more than I can say.

Jeers  to me for being stuck in the past and focusing on what I don't have anymore rather than what I do. I am so blessed in so many ways. I just miss my family so much...all of them who have passed.

Cheers and Jeers of late

Jeers to IHOP for making never ending pancakes sound so good that my husband and I went to get some even though it was very cold and super windy out. I fell and broke my wrist so bad it needed surgery and me to even stay over at the hospital for one night. AND I NEVER GOT MY PANCAKES!

Cheers to Gregory Zeider, DO who put my wrist back together again and even fixed a torn tendon. He's not a wrist specialist but he did such a good job you would think he was. Here's my incision.

J & C December 15th, 2018

Cheers to me for finding this blog and agreeing with myself that I need to do better in the New Year.

Jeers to the Federal Judge in TX who says the ACA is unconstitutional.  This is a game changer.  There is no way to get insurance companies on board to protect members if they are going to charge thousands of dollars each year for premiums.  The ACA had issues, no doubt but the mandate, which this judge vetoed is what kept costs down. And yes, it meant that healthy people were paying to help out their fellow man.

Jeers to anyone who doesn't want to help out their fellow man.

Cheers to all the investigators working on some case that could potentially remove Trump from office....one way or the other.

Cheers to Hahns Appliance for having great prices...so good, it's worth the drive to get there.

Cheers to the wind for dying down.

Jeers to me for not being able to find the fingerless gloves my friend Kay made me. I'm so bad.  They re here somewhere.

Jeers to how my house is an abyss where things just disappear. I have something in my hand one second and I drop it. It falls to the ground and then it's gone!  It happens a lot! A lot A lot A lot.

Jeers to people who write "alot" but never write "alittle".

Cheers to getting my Christmas cards done. It's not done but it's a work in progress.

Cheers to my husband who was off all week but didn't drive me insane. Go, Phil.

Cheers to people who do what I ask. You rock.

Jeers to people who totally ignore me as I struggle to walk out of a building into the sun that totally blinds me.

Cheers to a Facebook Group I see that just was created in July to support people with photophobia. I can't wait to get approved.

J & C's of Late

Jeers....once again to me for not posting more often. Note to self: Here's a New Years Resolution you could try.

Cheers to my friend Holly Hecker...Holly Checker for being my friend, my co-worker, my champion since I met her in September of 1986 (I believe) She was my sounding board, my personal voice of reason. We were both born on the 5th of the month so I found that a sign that we were to be buddies. I will always remember the fact that she had such faith in me...in my ability to write well.

Jeers to the passing of my friend Holly. May she be at peace.

Jeers and Cheers for August 27th, 2017

Jeers to me for letting this blog slide. Something just keeps me busy. I sometimes I find things to do so I don't have to write. Yeah, I'm a writer alright. It's embarrassing.

Cheers to the weather in OK. I am so loving the clouds and the cooler (for August in OK) temps.

Jeers to the weather in TX. I can't even imagine what it's like to have to go to your roof so you can get rescued. I try to imagine that much water around my house and it just doesn't seem possible. I'm happy that our house is kind of on an incline so the water on all sides stays away. It's really the perfect house.

Cheers to our house in Buffalo, NY getting sold. We are no longer homeowners in Buffalo and there is no way we would move there. I mean, if we had to move back, we'd have to live in that house...it would be silly to not. But now it's all moot as it's no longer ours.

Jeers to feeling so bad about not having kids. I see my friends on FB talking about their kids moving out and how hard it is to see them go and I want to say "Sounds like a nice problem to have." But, of course, I don't' say that. I cringe every time I hear or read about how special a woman feels while carrying her child..." it's like a feeling you have to experience to know how special it is." Aw...extra jeers to me for wanting to throw up.
