C & J's for February 13th

Cheers to my friend Pat who has kidney surgery today. She's going to rock this! Mostly because it's a rock the surgeon is removing from her kidney.

Cheers to my friends who have no idea how awful life could have been if they were not born into a white middle-class loving family. I cheer you for having had that privilege.

Jeers to my friends who don't understand how life would have been for them if they were born and raised in a life where you didn't know where your next meal was, where you are feared by people because of the color of your skin.

Jeers to people who post day after day after day a meme or story about their illness. You may think you're informing people about something but they get it after the first month: you have an illness; it hurts; life sucks. Stop please!  Get a blog and belly ache to no one because no one ever reads your words but that's okay. It's emotionally freeing.

Cheers to my good buddy Lisa who is on the road to recovery as she fights the evils of the big C. Yesterday she made it through a difficult surgery. She's kicking the snot out of cancer.

Cheers to Lisa's doctors and the wonderful staff at OK Heart Hospital. They all rock.

Cheers to the Dems trying whatever it takes to invalidate DeVos' confirmation. She has no clue.

C & J's For Friday February 3rd

First of all...Jeers to me for not recording my thoughts here.

Jeers to YOU KNOW WHO for saying " I’ve gotten a real glimpse—during the campaign, I’d go around with Ben to a lot of different places I wasn’t so familiar with. They’re incredible people." For singling out blacks by calling the "incredible people" like it was something we didn't already know.

More Jeers to our Commander for allowing companies to pollute our rivers by lifting a rule of Obama that kept mining companies from  putting waste in our rivers. Shame on us for wanting clean water to drink.

Jeers to congress for thinking Betsy DeVos is a sharp tool in the shed.

Jeers to YKW for giving the PM of Australia a hard time. It's like any other job, you get the tasks that the former employee was working on.

Jeers to YKW for reeking havoc last Friday with your Muslim Ban. Sorry, his backtalk doesn't change the fact that even his buddy Rudy said it was a Muslim Ban but needed some tweaking to give the illusion it wasn't.
